The NCDMB Headquarters (HQ) Building and Ancillary Facilities in Yenagoa consistsof a 17-floor Main Office Building (32,000sqm), a 1,000-seater Conference Hall (8,000sqm) and a 4-floor Multi-Level Car Park (19,000sqm).The gym and restaurant facilities are located in the Multi-Level Car Park.

It also includes Ancillary Buildings such as a Generator house, a Sewage Treatment Plant, a Water Treatment Plant, etc. and External Works (i.e. External car park, Roads, Drainage, Landscaping, External Power Generation, Fence, etc.)

The facility incorporates innovative ICT management systems, specifically:Building Management System (BMS)including Access Control, Cable management, CAD, Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM), CMMS and Car Park Management System (CPMS)

All buildings have state-of-the-art finishing and interior décor works thatare calm and stimulate the minds of the users especially for the conference centre which can be let out for a plethora of activities.

The Conference Centre is fully equipped with a hi-tech Public Address System, Audio Visual, Projection and Multimedia Screens, Stage Lighting with Scene Selection, Stage Mic Control Management, Acoustic Sound Management and Ambient Light Control Management to give the users a surreal visual andpureacoustic experience.These systems and more makes the building an intelligent building capable of energy management, fault detection and diagnosis, user control and management, etc.

The main building boasts of 9advanced lift facilitieslocated at the core of the building. The building is fire rated for 120 minutes as it employs the use of fire-retardant materials in the construction such as fire-rated Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), fire-rated doors, fire-man lifts etc. The stair well is also air-locked to enable easy escape in the event of an outbreak.

In terms of local contentcompliance, the Project achieved 100% NC for Construction and Services (Architectural and Engineering), 83% NC for Labour and 80% NC for Materials. The Project host community was given special consideration during employment to boost local economy, this is 45% of the total low-level workforce.An ultra-modern town hall was constructed in the community as a show of support to the community development.
